Frequently Asked Questions
First, congratulations for making this life-changing decision!
The sign-up process starts on the website. You will fill out the coaching application form. After we will pair you with a coach to do an assessment and will work with you to map out your nutritional and/or training goals, as well as develop the proper path for you to follow. Once that is completed you will receive onboarding documents to be signed
After you fill out your coaching application and sign your onboarding documents you will gain access to all the information, resources, blogs, recipes (and more!) you need to start on your journey, through the Fit Coach Portal Software, as well as full access to your coach if you have any questions or concerns.
All communications go through our Fit Coach Portal Software. You will have daily check-ins, a formal weekly check-in with your coach to discuss what is working, what went well this week, what did not, and what might need adjusting. If you have questions/concerns or are looking for some advice outside of those check-ins, you can just DM your coach, it’s just a click away.
Once your coach has a good understanding of your background, lifestyle, and health/nutrition related goals, they will tailor a plan just for you. This might entail counting calories, macro tracking (through an app), or a more flexible approach to eating and looking after your body and mind.
The approach you start with might change as your journey progresses. For example, you might start with calorie counting and expand deeper into macros as you move along. The beauty to what we do lies in the flexibility of tailoring to each individual and their lifestyle.
The time it can take depends on the individual and their unique situation. Remember, there is no quick fix or shortcut to achieving your goals. Whether you are looking to lose 20 lbs of fat or put on 10 lbs. of lean muscle, we will help you do it in a way that is sustainable and enjoyable. Teaching you the proper habits along the way to make this last you a lifetime. You can try a fad diet, a 21-day detox but, what would be the point if that isn’t sustainable for your long-term goals.
We want your time with us to be an enjoyable process and become the life changing experience that turns what you learn into second nature.
Since making a sustainable change does not happen overnight, we require a minimum three-month commitment to ensure you get the most out of the program, and that you practice patience with yourself.
This is when you will start to see real changes, and not just in physical appearance, but in the way you approach your nutrition. During this time, you will start to embed behaviors and knowledge that will stay with you as you continue your journey.
You might have tried something in the past but fell short of your goal. Usually someone tries something for 3 to 6 weeks but give up because it wasn’t sustainable. The 3-month commitment will ensure we have time to help you towards making those sustainable changes.
We would still love to work with you! We can work with almost anyone struggling with medical illnesses, but our coaches cannot provide any medical assistance or treatment options for diabetes, hormonal problems, thyroid problems, PCOS, etc. As with any change in diet, you should check with your doctor first and follow your doctor’s recommendations.
